General purchasing terms and conditions

Applicable terms and conditions for purchases made through the mResell web portal.


All prices are in GBP (British Pound) and include VAT (where applicable). In the case of a pricing error, mResell reserves the right to decline a placed order. If payment for an order containing a pricing error has already been processed, mResell reserves the right to cancel the order and reimburse you with a full refund.

Changes in price and stock

mResell reserves the right to change product prices and stock at its own discretion.


Deliveries are made exclusively by Parcelforce. A traceable reference number is attached to every shipment, allowing our customers to keep track of the parcels location and estimated delivery time. As a security measure, packages are handed over to the customer only after satisfactory proof of identification has been provided.

Delivery time

When an order is placed before noon, the product is shipped the same day and delivered within 1-3 business days. The delivery time depends on the distance to the specified delivery location.

The shipping day might be postponed if the buyer chooses a payment method which takes a longer time to verify, e.g. bank transfer. Deliveries are made during business days only, we don´t deliver any products during weekends or holidays.

Right to cancel

As a customer you have a two-week long ‘purchase on approval’ period. Which means that, if you for some reason are not satisfied with your purchase, you are able to return the product within the two-week period for a full refund. The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received by you. The two-week long ‘purchase on approval’ period commences when either you, or a third party designated by you takes physical possession of the product. For example, when a carrier delivers the product to you or when you collect the product at a collection point.

To exercise the right of cancelling an order and returning the product within the two-week long ‘purchase on approval’ period we require you to notify us within the established timeframe, otherwise you forfeit the right to cancel the order. The notification must contain a clear statement from which it’s apparent that you wish to cancel the order. The notification can be sent either by letter, to:

Below you will find a cancellation form which may be used to cancel the order within the previously mentioned two-week period. The use of the form is however not obligatory and we accept other forms of communication as long as the intent of cancellation is communicated unequivocally.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you communicate the cancellation intent before the cancellation period has expired. In other words, the cancellation is not contingent on mResell taking part of the communicated message before the deadline, the important thing is that the message has been sent to us within the cancellation period and that you can prove it was sent within the stipulated timeframe, e.g. with the help of a dated stamp on a letter or a timestamp in an e-mail you sent us.

Effects of purchase order cancellation

If you cancel your purchase order in accordance with the stipulated terms and conditions above, you will get a full refund of any payments that we have received from you in connection with the purchase order. The full refund is contingent on the return of the product to us, in an unaltered state. In other words, we expect the returned product to be in the same condition as when we sent it to you, otherwise we reserve the right to make necessary deductions from the reimbursement in order to cover repair costs or to compensate for loss of value. Furthermore, mResell reserves the right to make deductions from the reimbursement for any loss of value that might occur due to unnecessary or incorrect handling by the buyer.

We will refund your payment without undue delay, and not later than –

(a) 14 days after the day we receive the product you sent back, or

(b) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

(c) if no goods were supplied by us, 14 days after the day on which we were informed about your decision to cancel the purchase order.

The purchase will be refunded through the same payment procedure which was used for the initial payment, unless the customer contacts mResell and asks us to use a different payment method for the refund. No additional fees will be charged for changing payment method. We reserve the right to withhold the refund either until the product has returned to us and we have had time to control its condition, or until you have supplied sufficient evidence of sending back the product.

The customer must either send back the product or hand it over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which the above mentioned ‘purchase on approval’ period started running. The deadline is met if the customer has sent back the product before the period of 14 days has expired. The customer has to bear any direct and indirect costs associated with the return of the product. You are liable for any diminished value of the product resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.


When you purchase a product from us you always get a minimum 6-month warranty (unless stated otherwise at the point of purchase). This warranty works just like the warranty offered by Apple and covers faulty workmanship and hardware failure. In case of a warranty claim we will either repair the product or replace it with an equivalent or superior product.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by the misuse of the product. The term ‘misuse’ encompasses, but is not limited to: water damages, external damages caused by, e.g. dropping or crushing the product, and any other damages caused by the ‘abnormal’ use of the product. The warranty does not cover software issues. If a faulty product is returned to us for a warranty claim inspection and the issue is not covered by the warranty, the customer will be charged a service and administration fee of £30.


If a product is missing or damaged on arrival, a complaint/claim must be made directly at the pick up point or to the driver which delivered the product. If the damage is not visible until the product is unpacked a claim/complaint must be made to mResell within five days, counting from the date of delivery.

Payment terms for businesses

For business customers we offer two different payment methods. You can either pay through Braintree (which includes most credit and debit cards as well as PayPal) or choose to get an invoice. If you choose invoice, a standard credit check will be made.

Payment terms for individuals

At the moment we accept two different payment methods. You can choose to pay either via Braintree or a direct bank transfer. Through Braintree you can use any of the major credit and debit cards (e.g. VISA, MasterCard, or Discover) as well as PayPal to pay for your purchase.
